JBS RESICURE

JBS RESICURE

"Efficient Curing for Stronger Concrete."
RASIN ALUMISED PIGMENTED CURING COMPOUND

Product Description

JBS RESICURE is a synthetic resin-based curing compound that forms a continuous protective film on concrete or cement-bound surfaces. It minimizes premature water evaporation, ensuring proper curing and optimizing the strength and durability of concrete structures. The product is available in different variants: clear, white pigmented (RWP), and aluminized polymeric resin (RAL), providing options for enhanced solar reflection and curing efficiency.

Uses

  • Effective curing for concrete and cement-bound mortar surfaces.
  • Reduces the need for alternative curing methods such as water curing, wet Hessian, or polythene sheets.
  • Suitable for:
    • High-rise structures
    • Canal linings
    • Highways, runways, and taxiways
    • Roof decks, bridge decks, and retaining walls
    • Pre-stressed beams and aprons

Features

  • High Curing Efficiency: Up to 95% water retention with solar reflection above 70% in pigmented variants.
  • Strength Optimization: Ensures proper strength achievement while reducing shrinkage.
  • Cost and Resource Efficient: Saves water and reduces labor costs.
  • Improves Surface Quality: Results in hard, crack-free, and dust-free concrete surfaces.
  • UV Protection: Reflective grades minimize solar temperature gain.
  • Compliant: Meets ASTM C 309-89 and BS 7542:1992 standards.

Application Method

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is free of bleed water.
  2. Spray Application:
    • Apply JBS RESICURE using a hand-operated or power-driven spray gun.
    • For vertical surfaces (e.g., walls or columns), wet the surface with sprayed water before applying the compound.
    • Apply in two coats for maximum efficiency, ensuring the first coat is dry or tacky before applying the second coat.
  3. Post-Application Care: Avoid walking on the surface until fully dry.

Overcoating and Cleaning

  • Overcoating: No removal is required before applying subsequent coatings.
  • Cleaning: Clean spray equipment immediately after use.
